Our Fees
Mayfair Notary charges in accordance with guidance given by The Notaries Society.
Our mimimum charge is only £60+VAT. However, for more complex matters we charge a rate of £300+VAT an hour + expenses.
Payment will be in cash, credit and debit cards or BACS.
Quite frequently notarial documents need to be legalised, typically by sending it to The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and sometimes to various embassies in London. Mayfair Notary can use a number of specialist couriers who handle this kind of work and can help clients to arrange this.
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and various embassies charge a small fee for legalising a document. Such institutions will often only accept notaries’ cheques, not cheques issued by individuals. Mayfair Notary will issue a notary cheque to cover this fee on behalf of clients.
With regards to courier charges, Mayfair Notary merely pass on to the client what it is being charged by the courier company.

If a client instructs Mayfair Notary either to post or to courier documents, they do so entirely at their own risk and Notary will not be responsible for the documents in any way after they have left its offices
